Ariana Grande Comes of Age as 'Dangerous Woman'

MAY 20, 2016

Jakarta. After weeks of teasing her fans with sneak peeks of her new songs online, Ariana Grande finally released her much-anticipated new album, "Dangerous Woman," on Friday (20/05).

The 15-track record is now available on iTunes and streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify.

The 22-year-old American pop singer has enlisted a diverse array of collaborators on the album, including Nicki Minaj on the reggae-inflected "Side to Side" as well as rappers Future and Lil Wayne on "Everyday" and "Let Me Love You," respectively.

Soul legend Macy Gray lends her raspy voice to the moody ballad "Leave Me Lonely."

Grande released the album's title track—a sultry R&B song that showcases her powerful vocal—as a single in March. She also released the music video for "Let Me Love You" on Apple Music last week.

In a recent Billboard cover story, the former Nickelodeon star described the album as a coming-of-age project. "A 22-year-old girl comes into her own trying to balance growing up, love and a lot of other bulls— along the way," she told the magazine.

"Dangerous Woman" is Grande's third studio album, following "Yours Truly" in 2013 and "My Everything" in 2014.
