Colossal Music Fest ‘Semesta Berpesta!’ to Kick Off in BSD Tangerang

Jakarta. A colossal music fest that will visit 12 cities across Indonesia is slated to begin next weekend at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition hall in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD), Tangerang, with the organizers claiming the overall tours will make up the biggest music festival ever held in the country.

The opening show of “Semesta Berpesta!” will feature top singers and bands including Isyana Sarasvati, Anji, Pamungkas, /Rif, and Radja at the ICE BSD parking ground on June 3. On the following day, Ungu, Isyana Sarasvati, Anji, Radja, and Kunto Aji will complete the performance of the festival’s debut, show organizers RAM Entertainment said in a statement on Wednesday.

Every show day will last 12 hours, starting at 10:00 a.m.

More artists and singers will perform on subsequent trips every weekend in Bekasi, Bandung, Bogor, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Solo, Banjarmasin, Medan, Balikpapan, Palembang, and Jakarta.

“What makes Semesta Berpesta! different from other top-level shows is that we don’t just perform in metropolitan cities. We will be visiting many cities and towns across Indonesia,” RAM Entertainment CEO Tomi Defantri said.

The music show will go into a public party setting as it also involves fashion shows and culinary fest.

“The idea behind Semesta Berpesta! is to find a convergence between creative ideas and happiness that people can enjoy together. We are proud of organizing music concerts coupled with fashion shows and culinary fests in what will be unforgettable events for everybody. The show at ICE BSD will become the starting point before we move to 11 other cities," Tomi said.

The show will be interactive in nature, as audiences are given opportunities to participate in K-Pop dance contests and game shows with attractive prizes, the organizers said.

Tickets are available at Goers, Tiket.com, and tiketapasaja.com starting from Rp 100,000. The organizers provide more information on its official Instagram account @semestaberpesta.

Jakarta-based BTV television network is the official broadcaster of “Semesta Berpesta!”.
