Jakarta. Hammersonic Festival 2024 is set to rock Carnaval Beach, Ancol, North Jakarta, for 2 days on May 4-5.

This year's metal festival will carry the theme "The Majestic Fellowship," featuring 53 metal and rock musicians from both local and international scenes, including heavyweights like Lamb of God, Saosin, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Atreyu.

"Through this theme, we continue to strengthen Hammersonic Festival's commitment as a place to celebrate brotherhood within the rock, metal, punk, and its sub-genres music community. It will provide a musical experience that unites and fosters strong relationships among metal music enthusiasts, wherever they may be," said Hammersonic representative, Dede Rianta, during a press conference in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Thursday.

Unfortunately, two musicians, Alesana and Converge, will be unable to attend due to technical reasons and health issues among their personnel.

"However, their absence in this rock festival will be filled by other highly anticipated musicians, such as Saosin, alongside renowned acts like Lamb Of God, who are admired by President Joko Widodo, and performances from Killing Me Inside," he emphasized.

Meanwhile, Ravel Junardy, CEO of Ravel Entertainment and the promoter of Hammersonic Festival 2024, explained that over the 2 days of the festival, they will present a lineup of the best musicians.

"For this year, we have prepared 5 stages that will serve as venues for the musicians performing over these two days. We aim to thrill metalheads across Indonesia," he added.
