Indonesia Hosts Information, Communication and Technology Conference
Jakarta. Indonesia hosted the Comsnets Conference 2017 at the Fairmont Hotel in Jakarta on Thursday (05/10) and Friday, which discussed research and development on global information communications and technology, or ICT.
The conference was attended by representatives from the Indonesian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Indonesian ICT players, international ICT experts, researchers and academics.
"We all know that the future’s industry development will rely more on ICT; from banking, manufacturing, transportation, communication to tourism," Rosan Roeslani, Kadin chairman, said during his opening speech.
He hoped the conference will bring all related parties to collaborate in developing ICT in Indonesia to advance all sectors and increase national economy.
According to Huzur Saran, president of the Comsnets Association in India, the association was established by professionals and ICT experts to hold such conferences to gather experts in the ICT sector to share about latest findings in technology to other industries and the government.
He added that the Comsnets conference in India has become a prestigious event in the communication, network, application and service department, which is attended by ICT players from developed countries in America and Europe — which he hoped will inspire Indonesian ICT players as well.
