Ministry Teams Up With Cookie Brand Bon Gout

Jakarta. The Ministry of Tourism will sign a co-branding agreement with cookie brand Bon Gout on Thursday (10/08), to promote the "Wonderful Indonesia" campaign.
The company, based in Surabaya, East Java, produces crispy almond cookies, sultana cookies, crunchy brownies and date cookies, which across Indonesia and to neighboring countries.
"We hope Bon Gout cookies will help us promote and introduce the 'Wonderful Indonesia' brand to other countries as well," Esthy Reko Astuti, tourism development deputy at the ministry, said in a statement.
The ministry has also partnered with pharmaceutical company Kalbe Farma, snack brand Garuda Food, online ticket booking platform Tiket.com and food producer Sekar Group.
It is also set to sign co-branding agreements with several other brands such as Achilles, Polygon, the Sahid Group, Alleira Batik & Gaia, Sunpride, Sarinah, Sababay Wine, Martha Tilaar and Malang Strudle.
According to data from the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI), this year the Wonderful Indonesia brand ranked 42nd among other tourism marketing campaigns from 141 countries.
