Ministry to Promote Indonesian Tourist Destinations in Australia
Jakarta. The Ministry of Tourism and the Southwest Indonesian Community will present Wonderful Indonesia Getaway 2017 at Art Geo Cultural Complex in Busselton, Western Australia, on Saturday (04/11).
The SIC is an organization of Indonesian people living in the southwestern part of Australia.
"The festival aims to promote [the ministry's brand campaign] Wonderful Indonesia to people in Western Australia," I Gde Pitana, deputy for foreign marketing development at the ministry, said in a statement.
The event will feature Harmony Parade, travel exhibition, handicrafts exhibition, fun games, music and dance performances, theatre performance, face painting, local culinary bazaar and fashion show.
Australian officials scheduled to attend include Western Australia Tourism Minister Paul Papalia, Busselton Mayor Grant Henley and Elizabeth Mettam of Vasse Parliament.
The ministry has set a target of attracting 1.8 million Australian tourists to Indonesia this year.
