Pearl Jam, LCD Soundsystem to Headline Bonnaroo Music Festival
Jakarta. Pearl Jam, LCD Soundsystem and Dead & Company are set to headline the 2016 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, which will take place in Manchester, Tennessee, on Jun. 9 to 12.
The lineup for this four-day festival was first revealed on Tuesday night during Conan O'Brien's television talk show.
Other performers slated to hit the Bonnaroo stage include Tame Impala, Death Cab for Cutie, Haim and Chvrches. Singers like Ellie Goulding, Miguel and Father John Misty will also perform.
Entering its 15th year, Bonnaroo is among the world's largest and most anticipated music festivals, annually attracting around 85,000 spectators from the United States and around the world.
This will be Pearl Jam's first Bonnaroo performance after the group's last appearance in 2008. The rock band, fronted by vocalist Eddie Vedder, also recently announced that it would embark on a massive North American tour this year, performing in cities like New Orleans and Boston.
Meanwhile, Dead & Company — a band consisting of former Grateful Dead members with John Mayer — will perform two sets at the festival.
Tickets to Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival will go on sale at bonnaroo.com starting on Jan. 22.
