Semesta Berpesta Wraps Up Tangerang Edition with Ungu, Fourtwnty

Jakarta. Music fest Semesta Berpesta on Sunday wrapped up its Tangerang edition before coming to the next stop, Bekasi.
Singer-turned-politician and Ungu’s vocalist Pasha asked the crowd to appreciate such festivals to support the music industry.
“So let’s all go to events like Semesta Berpesta. Don’t complain about the ticket prices … because we should be proud. Why? This is one of the ways to keep the Indonesian music industry alive,” Pasha told the festival-goers at Tangerang’s ICE BSD.
“It is really cool of RAM Entertainment and BTV to host Semesta Berpesta. This is the right way to do things: attend concerts, rather than just enjoying music on apps, but to actually go out and watch concerts,” Pasha said.
Ungu was not the only one who performed that evening. Soloists Danilla and Kunto Aji played on the second day of Semesta Berpesta, along with indie group Fourtwnty and DJ Winky Wiryawan.
“I really liked how the audience were really deep into the songs to the point where we felt gloomy. They all stayed and that made me feel really appreciated [as an artist],” Danilla said.

But the fun will not stop here. Semesta Berpesta will tour around 11 other cities with Bekasi as its next stop. The Bekasi edition will take place at the parking grounds of Summarecon Mall Bekasi on June 10-11. It will also have another star-studded line-up with D'Masiv, Ardhito Pramono, and Lyodra, among others. Follow @semestaberpesta on Instagram for more updates.
