The Strokes Release New EP 'Future Present Past'

MAY 27, 2016

Jakarta. The Strokes have released their new EP, "Future Present Past," on Spotify streaming service in the United States on Friday (27/05), prior to its official release date on June 3.

The new record includes three new tracks — "Drag Queen," "Oblivius" and "Threat of Joy — plus a remix of "Oblivius" by drummer Fabrizio Moretti.

According to Rolling Stone, the New York rock band's frontman Julian Casablancas first previewed "Oblivius" — described by the magazine as "a theatric new rocker" — on his monthly Sirius XM radio show.

The new EP is a follow-up to The Strokes' 2013 studio album, "Comedown Machine." To coincide its release, the band will perform at the Governors Ball music festival in New York on June 3.

"Future Present Past" is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
