Titiek Soeharto Sends Birthday Wishes to Ex-Husband Prabowo

Jakarta. President-elect Prabowo Subianto celebrated his 73rd birthday on Thursday, receiving warm wishes from colleagues and close friends, including his ex-wife, Siti Hediati Hariyadi, better known as Titiek Soeharto.
"Happy birthday, Pak Prabowo. I wish you a long and healthy life," Titiek said at the legislature complex in Jakarta. "May your dedication bring the greatest benefits to the nation in the coming five years."
Prabowo’s 73rd birthday arrives just three days before his biggest milestone yet -- his inauguration as Indonesia’s eighth president, a victory that comes after three attempts at the presidency.
Titiek, the second daughter of Indonesia's longest-serving president, the late Soeharto, married Prabowo, an army officer, in 1983. However, their marriage ended after Soeharto stepped down from the presidency amid nationwide protests against his authoritarian regime in 1998.
Despite dismissing the idea of rekindling their relationship in several interviews, the 65-year-old Titiek has been a visible supporter of Prabowo's political career, playing an active role in his presidential campaigns since his first bid for office in 2014.
Prabowo is marking his birthday with work, meeting with potential cabinet members at his private residence in Bogor, West Java, to discuss key issues such as job creation, anti-corruption measures, artificial intelligence, and communication technology.
Earlier in the day, Prabowo shared several photos on his X account, including one showing his running mate, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, offering him birthday congratulations.
