Tourism Ministry Offers Tour Packages for IMF-World Bank 2018 Annual Meeting

Jakarta. The Ministry of Tourism has designed 60 tour packages to Indonesia for the IMF-World Bank Annual Meeting in Bali next year, officials said on Tuesday (10/10).
The meeting, which will be held on Oct. 12-14, is expected to welcome more than 15,000 delegates, businessmen and journalists from 189 countries, who are likely to spend more than regular tourists.
"The tour packages are designed in partnership with members of the Association of Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (Asita) and regional tourism agencies," the ministry's assistant deputy for the European, Middle Eastern, American and African markets Nia Niscaya said in the statement.
Destinations offered are Bali, Lombok (West Nusa Tenggara), Komodo Island (East Nusa Tenggara), Yogyakarta, Tana Toraja (South Sulawesi), Lake Toba (North Sumatra) and Banyuwangi (East Java).
There are 33 one-day tour packages for Bali, of which 28 are for sightseeing, golf, yoga, spa, snorkeling and diving.
There are five packages for Lombok, seven packages for Komodo Island, five packages for Yogyakarta, four packages for Tana Toraja, five packages for Lake Toba and one package for Banyuwangi.
The packages are available on www.am2018bali.go.id for online booking.
