'Wonderful Indonesia' Nominated at UN Tourism Video Competition
Jakarta. The Ministry of Tourism with its "Wonderful Indonesia" marketing brand is a nominee at the United Nations World Tourism Organization's video competition in the people's choice category.
The ministry submitted a three-minute video titled "The Journey Through Wonderful" to compete with more than 60 tourism videos from across the globe.
The Wonderful Indonesia clip shows popular Indonesian tourist destinations — including Yogyakarta, Bali, Raja Ampat in West Papua, Sembalun and Gili Trawangan in West Nusa Tenggara, and Wakatobi in Southeast Sulawesi — as well as traditional arts such as batik and Balinese dance.
Online voting can be done here or by sharing the video on social media with a hashtag #UNWTOGAChina until Sept. 11.
The winner will be announced at the 22nd UNWTO General Assembly event in Chengdu, China, this September.
