The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and customs officials arrested members of a drug smuggling syndicate in Medan, in North Sumatra, on March 1.

Eleven suspects were arrested and 48.16 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, 3,702 ecstasy pills and 454 so-called Happy Five, or nimetazepam, tablets were confiscated. 

According to available information, the drugs are smuggled by sea to Aceh from China.
