Jakarta. Pop diva Madonna will perform at the National Stadium in Singapore for the first time, Channel News Asia reported on Tuesday.
Local coordinators Mediacorp VizPro announced the Rebel Heart Tour in Singapore on their Facebook page. They also said the concert is a "one-night only" and there will be no additional show dates.
Tickets will go on sale for public on Jan. 12 at 10 a.m. Purchase can be made online via Sports Hub webite, hotline phone call or on site ticket booth at the National Stadium Box Office and all SingPost outlets. Presale privilege goes to Lifetime Legacy members of the Madonna's official fan club on Jan. 7-8. Citi card members will be able to purchase the tickets on Jan. 9-10. OCBC card members will get their turn on Jan. 11.
Ticket prices vary from $108 up to $1,288. The concert is rated R18, meaning visitors need to be at least 18-years-old to attend, Mediacorp said in their statement.
The Rebel Heart tour is Madonna's tenth worldwide concert and her first in Southeast Asia. The Singapore date was initially removed in December due to permit issues. She will also perform in Bangkok Feb. 9 and 10 and Manila on Feb. 24 and 25.
