Jakarta. Singer Agnes Monica, who for the past few years has busied herself with preparations for her first international album, kicked off her foray into the world of fashion with the launch of her fashion line ANYE on Saturday.

Named after a childhood nickname, the label is set to bring the range of fashion items the RnB star would typically wear on — and off — the stage to the wardrobes of fans.

"If we look at social media, a lot of her fans would ask Agnez about the clothes that she's wearing. And we see this as a business opportunity," says Steve Muljoto, founder and chairman of ANYE, who also happens to be the singer's brother, during the launch event in Plaza Senayan on Saturday.

The event coincided with the 10th anniversary of Agnes' official fan club, NEZindaHood.

Agnes will be releasing four different categories under the ANYE brand, all of which will feature clothing items that embody her personality and her taste.

ANYE on Stages features designs inspired by the clothing items Agnes can be seen wearing on stage during her performances; ANYE Sketch, a mini collection designed by Agnes and her team; ANYE Street Wear, a sporty and casual line of clothes; as well as ANYE Basic, featuring basic clothing items such as shirts with simple design and colors for daily wear.
