AGO Seizes Ferraris and Mercedes Benz in Harvey Moeis' Corruption Case

Jakarta. The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has once again seized luxury cars owned by Harvey Moeis, who is involved in a case of alleged corruption in tin trading. This time, the seized luxury cars include two Ferraris and one Mercedes Benz.
Kuntadi, Director of Investigation at the AGO's Special Crimes Investigation Directorate, confirmed the seizure of Harvey Moeis' luxury cars on Friday.
On April 18, the AGO also conducted a search at Harvey Moeis' residence in Jakarta. During the search, the AGO seized several vehicles, including a motorcycle, a Toyota Vellfire, and a Lexus RX300.
Previously, the AGO had seized a black Rolls Royce and a red Mini Cooper S Countryman F 60.
Throughout the ongoing investigation, prosecutors have also frozen multiple bank accounts belonging to Harvey and other suspects.
Furthermore, the AGO halted the operations of Refined Bangka Tin (RBT), a mining company owned by businessman Harvey Moeis, on Monday.
Following the interrogation of nearly 150 witnesses, the AGO has identified at least 16 suspects in connection with the graft scandal.
The majority of the suspects are executives from private mining companies, including RBT. Additionally, a former CEO of Timah, identified by the initials MRPT, and three other executives from the state company are also among the suspects.
Harvey's prominence on the list of suspects is highlighted by his marriage to actress Sandra Dewi and the couple’s lavish lifestyle. This lifestyle includes extravagant gestures such as gifting their 2-year-old son a private jet for his birthday and hosting their wedding at Disneyland Tokyo.
