Asean Global Leadership Program Aims to Empower Executives in Southeast Asia
Jakarta. University of California Berkeley for Executive Education has partnered with Southeast Asian-based management consulting firm SRW for the fourth consecutive year to host next year's Asean Global Leadership Program in Berkeley, California from May 8 to 12.
The leadership program has been specifically designed for top executives in both the public and private sector across the Southeast Asian region.
“I’m excited that we are once again partnering with SRW to offer this leadership program for the most senior executive. We welcome the opportunity to help empower current and future leaders across Southeast Asia with the most current leadership thinking, frameworks and tools,” University of California Berkeley dean, Rich Lyons, said in a press release.
Faculty director Mark Coopersmith — who has been integral the program — reveals that the five-day program will be led by distinguished faculty from the university's Haas School of Business. Executives from participating Asean member states will also visit leading Silicon Valley companies to gain insight into their success and work culture, as well as to learn about innovation techniques.
“There is a real appetite for peer-to-peer learning in [Southeast Asia]. This program meets the desire for a learning experience that is specific to the region and expands executives’ networks and exposure to new ideas and practice,” SRW chairman and partner, Daniel Wong, said.
The program is now open for enrollment and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
