The three suspected shooters, all Mexican nationals apprehended by the Badung Police, are identified as Aramburo Contreras Jose Alfonso (32 years old), Mayorquin Eacobedo Juan Antonio (24), and Deraz Gonzalez Victor Eduardo (36).

The motive behind the shooting is believed to be an attempted burglary at a villa housing four Turkish and Georgian nationals, including the victim. The perpetrators also made off with a sum of Rp 30 million and US$ 4,000 from the villa.

The Head of Intelligence and Immigration Enforcement in Bali, Gilang Angga, stated that they have closed exit points in Bali to capture the remaining fugitive.

The perpetrators entered Bali on December 12, 2023, using a tourist visa on arrival.

The shooting incident that injured the Turkish national took place at Villa Palm House, located on Jalan Raya Tumbak Bayuh Number 64, Tumbak Bayuh Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, Bali.

For their actions, the perpetrators will face multiple charges, including Article 340 in conjunction with Article 53 of the Indonesian Penal Code concerning attempted premeditated murder.
