Jakarta. Banten governor candidate Andra Soni visited the headquarters of B-Universe Media Holdings in PIK 2 on Thursday.

Andra, who currently heads the province’s legislative council, met with B-Universe’s Executive Chairman Enggartiasto Lukita. During his visit, Andra talked of his plans for Banten’s development for the next five years as Indonesia inches closer to the regional government elections in November.

“It is an honor to be welcomed here at B-Universe. … We mostly discussed my future plans and what I would do to develop Banten for the next five years,” Andra told reporters on the sidelines of his visit.

Andra has received the backing of 10 parties so far to compete in the gubernatorial election. These parties are President-Elect Prabowo Subianto’s Gerindra, PKS, Democratic Party, Nasdem, among others. PKB, PAN, PBB, PSI, Garuda, and Prima have also declared their support for Andra.

Andra is set to face the Former South Tangerang Mayor Airin Rachmi Diany in the upcoming election.
