Jakarta. Key witness in the headline-grabbing cyanide murder of Wayan Mirna Salihin, Hani Juwita Boon, on Wednesday (13/07) ruled out a rumored love affair between the victim and suspect, Jessica Kumolo Wongso.

A court hearing of the cyanide murder case of Wayan Mirna Salihin, on Wednesday morning (13/07) revealed a key witness, Hani Juwita Boon, as she ruled out love affairs to be the motive, with Jessica Kumolo Wongso as lone suspect in the case.

Hani – who visited the Olivier Cafe at Grand Indonesia shopping center along with murdered Mirna and suspect Jessica – told a hearing that she doesn't know anything about possible same-sex relationship between Mirna and Jessica.

“I don't know about that [same-sex relationship],” Hani told the judges at Central Jakarta District Court, broadcasted live by KompasTV.

The hearing also displayed the surveillance camera recording at the cafe when the victim drank the poisoned iced Vietnamese coffee.

Prosecutors have reportedly included love affairs as the motive of murder after some witnesses, including Mirna's father Darmawan Salihin,. said Jessica began acting differently after Mirna married Arif Soemarko in Nov. 2015.

Darmawan previously revealed a Whatsapp conversation that Jessica once asked Mirna to kiss her, but the victim refused to do so.

In a previous hearing on Tuesday, Mirna's husband Arief also denied rumors of a sexual relationship between the two.
