Paris Olympics: Jonatan Christie Among Top Three Seeds in Men’s Singles Badminton

Jakarta. Indonesian shuttler Jonatan Christie, commonly known as Jojo, is ranked third in the men's singles badminton event for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Alongside Jojo, Indonesia will also be represented by Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, who is seeded ninth. The top seed in the men’s singles is China's Shi Yu Qi, with Denmark's Viktor Axelsen holding the second spot.
Jojo is placed in Group L with India's Lakshya Sen, Guatemala's Kevin Cordón, and Belgium's Julien Carraggi. Meanwhile, Ginting is in Group H alongside France's Toma Junior Popov and an American representative.
Jojo and Anthony will strive to repeat the success of Alan Budikusuma and Taufik Hidayat, who won gold medals at the 1992 and 2004 Olympics.
