Police Detain Two Alleged Suspects in Pulomas Murder Case
Jakarta. Police arrested two men on Wednesday afternoon (28/12) accused of committing a sadistic murder at a house in Pulomas, East Jakarta, the day before.
The two alleged suspects were seized in Bekasi, West Java, in a sting operation led by Supt. F. Hendy Kurniawan.
Ramlan Butar Butar and Erwin Situmorang were picked up by the police from Ramlan's brother's house.
Currently, the police are still interrogating the two alleged suspects.
The multiple murders occurred at the home of billionaire Dodi Triono on Tuesday, with six people found dead from suffocation and five injured in a tiny toilet at the house after being locked up since the night before.
The injured victims are still in intensive care at Kartika Hospital in Pulomas, not far from the house where they were locked in for almost a day.
Police say they are still investigating the motive behind the tragic murder.
However, reports now claim that robbery is out of the question, as the intruders did not take anything of value from Dodi's luxury house.
Indonesian Commission for Child Protection (KPAI) commissioner Erlinda Iswanto said she believed the real motive could have been revenge.
