Bogor. President-elect Prabowo Subianto outlined five key priorities to prospective ministers, deputy ministers, and agency heads during a briefing at his residence, Padepokan Garuda Yaksa, in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday.

Law and Human Rights Minister Supratman Andi Agtas said the session, which lasted until 6 p.m., focused on aligning the incoming cabinet’s agenda with Prabowo’s vision for the nation. The first point emphasized was the proper use of the state budget (APBN) for public welfare.

"President-elect Prabowo instructed us to ensure the state budget is used solely for the benefit and prosperity of the people," Supratman said.

Prabowo also cautioned against misusing state funds for personal or group interests.

The second point stressed the importance of each minister and agency head fulfilling their respective duties while ensuring coordination and synergy between ministries and agencies.

Prabowo’s third point urged them to execute the president’s programs effectively. "We were instructed to support each other in carrying out the president's vision," Supratman noted.

Prabowo’s fourth priority was the need to focus on food security and self-sufficiency. His final point underscored the importance of energy and water independence as crucial for national progress.

The briefing, attended by Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka, is set to continue on Thursday. The participants, required to wear white attire, met behind closed doors. This follows earlier meetings where Prabowo summoned 108 prospective cabinet members over two days in Kartanegara. Key figures from President Joko Widodo’s administration, including Finance Minister Sri Mulyani and SOE Minister Erick Thohir, were among those present.
