Prabowo: 'Positive Atmosphere' Among Ministerial Candidates

Jakarta. President-elect Prabowo Subianto assured on Monday that the candidates for ministers, deputy ministers, and heads of agencies he invited to his residence in South Jakarta are capable of fulfilling their roles in the upcoming cabinet.
During a press conference held at the entrance of his residence on Jalan Kertanegara, Prabowo said that he has been monitoring his ministerial candidates for some time, engaging in discussions and expressing his desire to appoint them to their respective positions in the new government.
“Before I invited them here, they had already expressed their willingness to assist me. Today's interviews were primarily to confirm that. I wanted to ensure they are willing to support me in the fields I offered them. Praise God, all of them affirmed their readiness,” Prabowo said.
In the meeting, which involved a total of 49 candidates meeting with him one by one, Prabowo emphasized the direction of his government policies moving forward.
“Overall, I am satisfied, and the atmosphere was very positive. Everyone understands that we must work effectively and hard as a team in this uncertain global climate,” he added.
Prabowo mentioned that on Tuesday, he will continue to meet with additional ministerial candidates for further confirmation sessions at his residence. Some candidates are currently out of town and will be called for their appointments.
