Wiranto Tips Priority Programs for New Year

Jakarta. Chief Security Minister Wiranto has tipped four priority programs to be to implemented by ministries under his coordination this year.
“The four are [the top of] the scale of priorities,” Wiranto told the press after heading a coordination meeting at the ministry’s complex in Jakarta Tuesday (03/01).
The priority programs cover law reform and enforcement, security and stability, democracy and foreign and domestic diplomacy as well as bureaucratic reforms.
He said the programs reflect the needs of Indonesians and hoped the new year would see the plans effectively applied.
Wiranto led the meeting attended by Justice Minister Yasonna Laoly, State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reforms Minister Asman Abnur, Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu, Home Affairs Minister Tjahjo Kumolo, Communications and Information Minister Rudiantara and Foreign Minister Retno LP Marsudi.
Also present were National Counterterrorism Agency chief Comr. Gen. Suhardi Alius, Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla) chief Rear Adm. Arie Soedewo, National Intelligence Agency chief Gen. Budi Gunawan, Indonesian Military chief Gen. Gatot Nurmantyo, Attorney General M. Prasetyo and National Police chief Gen. Tito Karnavian.
