Jakarta. Matahari Department Store, Indonesia's largest retailer, received the Indonesia Outstanding Public Companies 2018 award in the trade, services and investment category on Tuesday (31/07).
The award was received by Matahari vice president commissioner Roy Mandey at the Mawar Ballroom, Balai Kartini, Jakarta.
The organizer, Warta Ekonomi, said the awards are meant as appreciation for public companies that show healthy financial performance.
The companies were assessed was based their financial reports, share trading activities — their growth in profit, performance, efficiency, return on assets and return on equity.
Matahari said in a press release that it intends to support Indonesia's capital market and growth.
Bank Indonesia expects the country's economic growth to increase 5.5 percent this year.
