Nissan Motor Indonesia Launches The New Serena
PT Nissan Motor Indonesia (NMI) launched the new Nissan Serena with more attractive design. This major update is intended to give a touch of luxury, elegance and prestige MPV that reflect a personal style and success.
General Manager of Marketing Strategy and Communications Division Product Planning Division Nissan Motor Indonesia, Budi Nur Mukmin said that Nissan Serena was first presented into the Indonesia market in 2007. Ever since its initial launches, Serena has esthablished itself as the market leader and pioneer of high segment MPV in Indonesia.
In 2015, NMI begun a significant re-inovation to bring the New Serena New Serena with more enhanced concepts and features, emphasizing on a touch of luxury and elegance. It is regarded as a super comfortable and very flexible car, suitable for Indonesian family.
"Nissan continues its innovation in delivering a vehicle that is convenient for consumer, especially for Indonesian family. This car is suitable for those seeking a modern and dyanmic life-style, " said Budi during the launch of the New Serena in Jakarta.
Budi also ponted out that the New Serena is equipped with a new front bumper, new grille, new hood design, new allow wheel, new LED headlamp with day time running light, and fog lamp finisher, new LED rear lamp and new aero side guard.
In the interior, Serena offers a new audio-steering switches, instrument panel with new colors and motifs that looks more luxurious in the chair passanger. Other features also include a 360-degree view, airbags, cruise control, eco drive feature, roof monitors, and panoramic roof.
Through the New Serena, PT Nissan Motor Indonesia (NMI) believes to maintain sales records predecessor of 3000-4000 units per year.
"Serena is indeed a market leader in its segment, High MPV, with a market share of approximately 30-40 percent," said GM Marketing and Product Planning NMI Budi Nur Mukin in Jakarta. For the 2.0 Highway Star type, which cost Rp 409 million, will be spearheading the high sales contribution with approximately 60 percent of the total sales.
The New Serena comes with a choice of light color steel blue, scarlet red, white floral, diamond metalic silver, gray metallic smokey, and phantom black. Highest variance of 2.0 Autech would cost Rp 441 million, 2.0 highway Star Rp 409 million and lastly Rp 364 million for 2.0x.
