Snapcart to Represent Indonesia at Global Mobile Challenge in Singapore

Jakarta. The cashback app Snapcart will represent Indonesia in the Asia-Pacific regional final of the Global Mobile Challenge 2016 after beating more than 140 applicants on Monday (28/11).
Snapcart was chosen by the panel of judges, consisting of representatives from organizers Global Entrepreneurship Program Indonesia (GEPI), and collaborators Bekraf, and Dicoding, after their final presentation in Jakarta.
"The GMC 2016 country semifinal has helped to build the developer community in the country and we have to showcase the talent Indonesia has, which is getting more sophisticated," Snapcart chief executive Reynazran Royono said in a statement. "The technology developed by Indonesian developers is also not only growing in Indonesia, but all over the world."
Launched in 2015, the app allows users to get cashbacks through snapping a picture of their shopping receipts via Snapcart.
Snapcart will represent Indonesia in Singapore on Jan. 20, with the global final round taking place in Barcelona on Feb. 27.
The Global Mobile Challenge is an international mobile app competition that started in 2013 and has more than 20,000 participants on six continents.
