Telkom Group Donates Sacrificial Animals on Eid al-Adha

Jakarta. State-owned telecommunications company Telkom donated 942 sacrificial animals on Eid al-Adha.

Out of the animals donated, 704 were given under the company's CSR program, while the rest were donated by Telkom employees.

The donations were handed by Telkom president director Alex Sinaga to the Telkom Group Majelis Taklim chairman Dedy Mardhianto at the Telkom Landmark Tower, Jakarta, on Tuesday (21/08).

They will be distributed in Telkom's areas of operations in Sumatra, Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan and in eastern Indonesia.

"We're very grateful, because this year we were able to donate 942 animals to those in need. Eid al-Adha is always a time for giving back to the community. We would also like to thank our employees who donated with us," Alex said.

The donation of livestock is part of the company's annual Telkom Group Gives program.

"Hopefully the donations given through our Telkom Group Gives program will give to us blessing sto move forward as a company and bring about real and sustainable change for the Indonesian people," Alex said.
