Telkom Named The Most Trusted Company on 16th CGPI Conference
PT Telkom Indonesia (Telkom) was awarded as "The Most Trusted Company" based on Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) in Indonesia The Most Trusted Companies Award 2017. The award was handed by IICG Chairman G. Suprayitno and Chief Editor SWA Group Kemal Effendi Gani to Telkom Finance Director Harry M. Zen at the Night of Awards and 16th CGPI Conference held by SWA magazine with Indonesia Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG), in Jakarta, Tuesday (19/12).
Harry M. Zen's pride expressed his gratitude for Telkom as the Most Trusted Company based on CGPI. "Predicate is a proof that the implementation of corporate governance in Telkom goes well," said Harry. "As a digital telecommunications company with more than 52 years of experience, Telkom has always placed its governance policy as one of the Company's sustainability strategies. Therefore, this award is the motivation for us to always apply all aspects of good governance in the company's business operations.
The assessment for The Most Trusted Company awards was conducted by participants consisting of public, state-owned, local-owned and private companies, based on several aspects such as commitment, transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, fairness, competence, mission, leadership, collaboration, and risk. Specifically for the aspect of risk assessment is included in line with the topic/theme of Management of Change in the Framework of GCG.
CGPI is a GCG research and ranking program for leading companies in Indonesia through research design. Through this research, it is expected that the company can always improve the quality of application of corporate governance concept.
With the theme of Good Corporate Governance in Sustainability Perspective, Indonesia The Most Trusted Companies Award 2017 is held as a form of appreciation to public companies, non-public, BUMN, and BUMD that are committed and consistently implement Good Corporate Governance in a sustainable manner.
