Jakarta. Wilmar International, the world's largest palm oil trader, has through its subsidiary Multi Nabati Sulawesi, delivered aid to victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Palu and Donggala in Central Sulawesi.
Wilmar country head Darwin Indigo said in a statement on Thursday (04/10) that the company was sending essentials, such as food and cooking oil, through the North Sumatra provincial government.
He said Wilmar would also send heavy equipment, fuel and tents to speed up rehabilitation of the affected areas.
"We continue to coordinate with the government and relevant parties regarding distribution of the aid, so that it gets to the right hands," he said.
