Jakarta. The Blitar government recently granted educational support for underprivileged students.

Blitar regent Rini Syarifah handed over the assistance on Friday. As many as 957 students have passed the administration process. About 729 of them are high-achieving students, while 228 others are underprivileged. All students who have passed the administration process will get a bank book for their educational assistance.

Rini Syarifah said that the assistance also aligned with her mission to ensure educational access for people living in villages. She added: “Because education remains the main focus in the development of a human capital that is skilled, productive, dynamic, and knowledgeable in science and technology,” Rini said.

“Hopefully, everyone can get their dream jobs or even become successful entrepreneurs that provide jobs for others,” Rini said.
