BNI Takes Part in Pura Mangkunegaran’s 266th Anniversary
Jakarta. State-owned bank BNI over the weekend took part in celebrating the 266th anniversary of the Pura Mangkunegaran palace.
State-Owned Enterprise Minister Erick Thohir attended Sunday’s CEO’s Mangkunegaran Royal Dinner Road to the 2023 ASEAN Summit on President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s behalf. Also attending the dinner were Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi, Mangkunegara X, and BNI president director Royke Tumilaar.
“Through this program, BNI wishes to become more proactive in resocializing the Mangkunegaran Palace, which we hope to drive the culture-based economy, particularly in Surakarta,” BNI corporate secretary Okki Rushartomo was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.
According to Okki, BNI has an Xpora Hub in Surakarta, which aims to help local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to go global. These MSMEs participate in coaching programs and business matching with potential overseas buyers.
“With BNI Xpora, we consistently boost digital capabilities to develop various digital finance solutions that meet the needs of our customers. We also encourage MSMEs to create cultural crafts to promote Indonesia,” Okki said.
BNI reported that BNI Xpora has helped drive up export loans to reach Rp 26.72 trillion in 2022, up from Rp 19.05 trillion in the previous year. Export trade volume also grew from Rp 24.36 trillion in 2021 to Rp 66.21 trillion in 2022.
