Jakarta. State-owned bank BNI announced that it would have limited operations during the upcoming Nyepi holidays on March 22-23.

The bank, however, will still receive payments for state-run oil company Pertamina’s fuel, according to BNI corporate secretary Okki Rushartomo.

“The limited operational activities will take place in 20 branch offices, sub-branch offices, and cash offices with working hours starting from 10-12 local time,” Okki was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.

The said 20 outlets include the branch offices in Medan, Batam, Pekanbaru, Padang, Musi Palembang, Cepu, Jombang, Surabaya, Slamet Riyadi Solo, and Malang.. As well as the sub-branches in Sandubaya, Kanaka, Serang City, Karawang, Kramat, Pasar Wage. BNI will have limited operational activities in Boulevard-Makassar and A Yani Jayapura cash offices.

BNI will only serve payment deposits for Pertamina’s fuel oil via the OPBS Pertamina H2H system. Going forward, customers will be able to make those deposits via the BNIDirect channel.

Cash withdrawals, cash deposits, transfers, bill payments, account opening, ATM card replacement and other transactions are available 24 hours on BNI’s e-channels, namely mobile banking, internet banking, ATM, CRM, Agen46, and DigiCS.

“We apologize for the inconvenience and we hope that people can make good use of these limited operational activities. We wish you a happy Nyepi day for those who celebrate it,” Okki said.
