Catchplay+ Unveils 'Seobok' Exclusively for Indonesia

Jakarta. Streaming service Catchplay+ has announced the long-awaited mega Korean movie 'Seobok' will be available on the platform exclusively for Indonesia just one week after the film’s cinematic premiere.

'Seobok' is now available as a Premium Single Rental on Catchplay+ at Rp 49,500 (after tax) which is set to benchmark the price of a cinema ticket. However, once paid, users will have a 30-day period to redeem the movie and once watched, 48 hours of unlimited viewing.
A Catchplay+ membership account also allows up to 5 registered devices and 2 concurrently watching including PC, smartphones, pads or big screens. A perfect solution for friends and families to share or watch together if going to the cinemas is not an option.
“We want to provide alternative ways for movie lovers to enjoy new films at home," Catchplay Group CEO Daphne Yang said in a written statement on Thursday.
“Since last year, we have committed ourselves to providing early access for latest blockbusters on our platform. Starting from 'Peninsula', 'Wonder Woman 1984', 'The Little Things', 'Tom and Jerry' and now with great excitement, we are delighted to announce 'Seobok' exclusively for Indonesia," Daphne said.
"We hope to continuously surprise and entertain our customers with bigger, newer titles."
'Seobok', directed by Lee Yong Joo (Architecture 101), pairs up Hallyu mega star Gong Yoo ('Train to Busan') and Park Bo Gum ('Reply 1988'), two of the top-listed Korean actors both with millions of fans around the world.
It tells the story of the first human clone (Park Bo Gum) in the world, whose safety is in danger because he holds the secret of immortality. A dying ex-secret agent (Gong Yoo) is on his last mission to protect Seobok from evil hands.
This early access at home, which can be streamed simultaneously with cinema release is now available directly on the Catchplay+ website, its iOS, Android mobile and TV apps, Apple TV or through participating partner platforms including IndiHome, First Media and XL Home.
Payment options include credit/debit cards, ATM transfer, GOPAY and Telkomsel billing.
