The 2024 Chandra Asri Limitless Innovation and Business Strategy Challenge (Caliber) is open for Indonesian students and offers grand prizes worth totaling Rp 30 million.
This year’s CALIBER has picked “Turning Trash into Treasure: Sustainable Solutions for Plastic Waste” as its theme. Chandra Asri says this theme resonates with its commitment and addresses a globally significant topic.
Chandra Asri Group's Head of Corporate Communications Chrysanthi Tarigan said the company invited Indonesian youth to take part in CALIBER to come up with innovative ideas.
"We hope this competition can open up opportunities for Indonesian youth to explore sustainable business opportunities in plastic waste management while delivering a positive impact on the environment," Chrysanthi Tarigan said.
To join, participants can form a team of no more than three people. The competition is not only open to engineering students, but it is open to all students regardless of their field. CALIBER serves as a platform for students to share their creative ideas.
In the first phase, participants will have to undergo a selection process. They will be judged based on their creative solutions that address a case study. Ten selected teams will proceed to the next step in which they will present their proposals to the judges. Winners who pass the second phase will get to win cash prizes worth totaling Rp 30 million.
