Tangerang. The Family Go Festival is being held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition BSD in Tangerang, offering a fun and educational end-of-year holiday entertainment for the family.

The FamGoFest 2019 is themed "Kingdom of Happiness" and runs from Dec. 19 to Dec. 29. Located at the convention center's Hall 1 to 3A, the largest playpark festival in Indonesia can fit in up to 75,000 visitors and offer all of them a chance to explore the world of imagination. 

In its second year, this collaboration between Hype Festival and Berlian Entertainment also involves Traveloka Xperience as an online ticketing partner.

"There will be entertainment, education and a host of activities, with more than 50 games available for children of all ages. We even have our own jingle, "#BuatMamadanPapaHappy" (Make Mom and Dad Happy), for the children to sing along to," project director and FamGoFest creator Dino Hamid said in a press release on Friday.

The festival also features parades and carnivals where the event's mascots, the Latamotchis, mingle with characters from children's animated series such as the Badanamu, Tayo the Little Bus, Robocar Poli and Nussa & Rara.

The educational and creative activities include a building block area, painting classes and workshops for making slime. At the Traveloka Xperience's special booth, visitors can check out a collection of sea animals and plants from the Jakarta Aquarium.

ICEFEST 2019, a mini-festival that turns Hall 5-10 of ICE BSD into a rustic village in winter – hence the theme "A Journey to the Winter Village – is also taking place at the same time. 

Tickets for FamGoFest 2019 range from Rp 110,000 (late entry), Rp 165,000 (on the spot) and Rp 550,000 (family package). More information is available on the Traveloka and FamGoFest websites.
