Jakarta. Link Net's cable TV and internet service provider First Media will broadcast the First Festival From Home – "10,000 Cinta Untuk Indonesia" concert on June 7 starting at 7 p.m.

The two-hour music concert, performed at the artists' homes, will feature pop stars Yovie & Nuno, Sandhy Sondoro, Paddy Reborn and Java Jive.

The concert is also a fundraiser to help health workers battling the Covid-19 pandemic.

It will also feature a talk show discussing challenges and opportunities in the new normal era with Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Zainudin Amali, former vice president and Indonesian Red Cross chairman Jusuf Kalla and celebrity Donna Agnesia.

Link Net's chief executive and president director, Marlo Budiman, said the festival will be held in collaboration with BeritaSatu Media Holdings and the Indonesian Red Cross.

Viewers can donate from as little as Rp 10,000 (70 cents) to help hospitals and community health centers in small towns such as Cikampek, Purwakarta, Tegal, Kediri, Serang and Madiun.

"We hope this fundraiser can help medial workers stay healthy and ready to face the pandemic under the new normal. The support from many parties, including all the performers, is a reflection of our united spirit in facing this crisis," Marlo said.

The donation can be made between June 1 and 15 on the First Media website at www.firstmedia.com/first-festival or by bank transfers to Link Net's Nobu Bank account: 10130999001.

"The money will be used to buy personal protective equipment for medical workers and to disinfect public facilities to curb the spread of Covid-19," Indonesian Red Cross secretary-general Sudirman Said said.

The festival will be broadcast live on BeritaSatu TV, First Warriors channel #999, First Lifestyle channel #3, First Media World YouTube dan Facebook account and the First Media website at www.firstmedia.com/event/first-festival-from-home.
