Mustika Ratu Donates Herbamuno+, Hand Sanitizers for Army's Health Workers
Jakarta. Beauty giant Mustika Ratu is donating its herbal supplement Herbamuno+ and hand sanitizers for the medical workers at the Army hospitals in Java Island.
The donation comprises 30,000 strips of Herbamuno+ and 25,000 Mustika Ratu-brand hand sanitizer bottles.
"The Herbamuno+ will be distributed the army's medical workers that are currently serving at the Army hospitals in Java island. Hopefully, this will help maintain their immunity when providing healthcare services to the people," Indonesian Army Chief of Staff Gen. Andika said, as quoted from a written statement received on Monday.
Andika also hoped the already-strong partnership between the army and Mustika Ratu will continue and grow even stronger.
"Herbamuno+ is great for health and immunity boost. Especially for the army's medical workers as the frontliners taking care of the Covid-19 patients," Mustika Ratu president director Egidius Situmorang said.
"We offer Herbamuno+ is for all Indonesians at an affordable price. Herbamuno+ is available at your local Shopee, Alfamart, and Indomaret," Egidius said.
According to the Mustika Ratu press statement, Herbamuno+ is a herbal supplement made from five herbs all originating from Indonesia — namely small ginger, green chiretta, licorice, meniran leaves, and cashew nut leaves. The combination of these five herbs gives an additional benefit to relieve fever, bloating, nausea, diarrhea, and breathing problems, although Herbamuno+ originally acts as an immune booster.
Herbamuno+ is also among the 14 herbal medications currently receiving assistance from the National Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) as an adjuvant for Covid-19 treatment. They are also preparing for a clinical test at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital in Kemayoran.
