Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills Resort Opens for Business, Offers Premium Accommodation
Jakarta. Agung Podomoro Land, one of Indonesia's largest property developers, has introduced its newly completed $70-million Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills Resort in Bogor, West Java, to the public on March 17.
"Approximately 1,100 participants enthusiastically gathered at 6.30 a.m. for a run, while enjoying togetherness in the outdoors," Zaldy Wihardja, assistant vice president for residential marketing at Agung Podomoro Land, told Investor Daily.
The hotel is APL's second Pullman establishment after Pullman Central Park in West Jakarta.
The five-star hotel is built on 10 hectares of land and it has 229 rooms. It offers various facilities, including a swimming pool, restaurant and meeting rooms. "Our grand ballroom can accommodate up to 1,300 people," Zaldy said.
The hotel caters for special family events, wedding receptions and travelers requiring premium accommodation. It is also an option for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions.
Vimala Hills Resort also encompasses villas, with more than 500 already sold, mainly to Jakarta residents. "We currently have 30 villas left. Prices start from Rp 1.5 billion ($105,000) per unit," Zaldy said.
"This year, we will open two more Pullman hotels – one in Ciawi soon and another in Bandung by the end of 2019," said Wibisono, investor relations officer at APL.
As one of the most popular holiday destinations for Jakarta residents, Bogor district still offers many prospects in terms of villa sales. Moreover, a new toll road to Sukabumi, West Java, and the Greater Jakarta Light Rail Transit, which is currently under construction, will cut traveling times.
