Wisma Haji Hospital Receives Herbamuno+ Supplements from Mustika Ratu

Jakarta. Wisma Haji Covid-19 Emergency Hospital in Pondok Gede, East Jakarta, has received about 50,000 caplets of herbal supplement Herbamuno+ from beauty product giant Mustika Ratu.
"These supplements will be used and prioritized for the health workers as a prevention measure,” Mukti E. Rahadian, the coordinator for the philanthropy logistics at RSDC Wisma Haji, said in a recent statement.
Kusuma Ida Anjani, business development and innovations director at Mustika Ratu, said, “Herbamuno+ is great for health and as an immunity boost, especially for the frontline health workers."
“Herbamuno+ is also among the 14 herbal medications currently receiving assistance from the National Food and Drug Monitoring Agency [BPOM] as an adjuvant for Covid-19 treatment. [We] are also preparing for a clinical test at the Wisma Atlet Covid-19 Emergency Hospital in Kemayoran,” she added.
Herbamuno+ is a herbal supplement made from five herbs all originating from Indonesia — namely small ginger, green chiretta, licorice, meniran leaves, and cashew nut leaves.
"Small ginger can boost immunity, and relieve nausea, inflammation, as well as muscle aches. Green chiretta is also known as a relief for severe flu, sore throat, soothe breathing, fever, and also bolster immunity," Hadi Siswoyo, the empirical sub-directorate head at the Health Ministry's traditional healthcare directorate, said.
The assistance comes as Mustika Ratu's support as a member of the Herbal and Traditional Remedy Association (GP Jamu) in showing how Indonesian herbs can play a crucial role amid the pandemic.
“Herbal products have long been believed to support treatment for a number of diseases and in keeping the body healthy," GP Jamu chairwoman Dwi Ranny Pertiwi Zarman.
Herbamuno+ is available at an affordable price at the local convenience stores Alfamart and Indomaret. It is also just one click away with the herbal supplement now available on apps such as Shopee, Tokopedia, Halodoc, and GrabHealth.
