Jakarta. Shuttlers Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo won a gold medal in men's doubles in an all-Indonesian final, beating Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto at the Istora Senayan indoor arena inside Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex on Tuesday (28/08).

Marcus and Kevin, known as "Minions," lost the first set by 13-21. The second, although to their advantage, was not easy either, ending 21-18.

"In the third set, we were hopeless, because our points were far behind," Marcus told reporters after the match, as quoted by Antara.

But eventually the 2018 All-England champions won it by 24-22.

By the end of Tuesday, Indonesia had 24 gold medals in this year's Asian Games.
