Aceh Holds Wonderful Sabang and Marine Expo
Jakarta. The Wonderful Sabang and Marine Expo 2017, part of Sail Sabang 2017, is taking place on Dec. 1-5.
"The event aims to promote local business, creative industry, culture and traditional cuisine to visitors and participants in Sail Sabang 2017," I Gde Pitana, deputy for foreign marketing development at the Ministry of Tourism, said in a statement.
The exhibition features more than 100 booths showcasing local arts and culture, as well as marine tourism in the area.
The Tourism Ministry is also participating in the event, with a 90-square-meter area to accommodate 10 booths, including that of the Raja Ampat Tourism Agency, a tourism information center and a photo exhibition. The booth is designed to resemble a traditional phinisi boat.
