Tourism Minister Hopes Sail Sabang Will Bring Welfare
Jakarta. Tourism Minister Arief Yahya expressed his happiness that Sail Sabang has become the biggest sailing event in Indonesia, and hope that it will have a positive impact on local communities.
"As President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo said, such events should have a positive impact on the regions, and that's what happens with Sail Sabang 2017," the minister said during a press conference in Sabang, Aceh, on Thursday (30/11).
There are 100 international yachts joining the rally, which as of Thursday has already drawn 20,000 visitors to the city.
