Kopi Cat Cafe by Groovy in Kemang, South Jakarta, still has 20 cats living on the premise since it was closed down temporarily when the capital began its large-scale social restriction last month.
Every day, three "cat caretakers" clean the cats' playroom, wash and feed them and play with them for at least 10–15 minutes so the cats don't get stressed.
Senta, one of the caretakers, said last Friday, "The social restriction doesn't just stress out the humans, but cats too."
