For the first time since the Jakarta provincial government allowed malls to reopen on June 15, Alfons Haircode Salon at Lotte Shopping Avenue in South Jakarta reopened its doors to customers on Friday.

The salon no longer allows walk-ins, every customer must book an appointment online using an app.

They have to declare on an online form if they had recently traveled abroad or come into contact with people who have tested positive for Covid-19

The salon's employees and customers – currently limited to 50 percent of the shop's capacity – must wear a mask at all times while inside the premise.

All of the salon's employees have been swab tested for Covid-19 before they were allowed to return to work.
