Glow Up: Jakarta's Beauty Clinics Get Creative During Pandemic
Jakarta's popular beauty clinics have started to reopen since the provincial government started relaxing social restrictions to enter a "new normal" transition period early this month.
One of them is the Emerald Health and Beauty Clinic in Menteng, Central Jakarta, which reopened on Tuesday with a new health protocol in place.
Customers at the clinic are now separated from their beauticians using acrylic screens and boxes to prevent droplets from being transferred.
During a facial, microdermabrasion session, chemical peel or laser treatment, customers also have to wear a small mask that covers the mouth and nose but leaving the cheek area open to allow them to remain safe while getting extra detailed skincare.
