Depok, one of Jakarta's satellite cities and the region with the highest number of Covid-19 cases in West Java, conducted Covid-19 testing using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method on suspected patients on Thursday.

The city has so far reported 208 confirmed coronavirus cases, 16 recoveries and 14 deaths.

Health workers wearing level 3 protective gear – hazmat suit, a goggle, a double face mask, a face shield, gloves and boots – took swab samples from the patients' throat or nasal cavities in a special swab chamber installed at the city's Regional Health Laboratory.
