Where do old airplanes that have been retired from service go? Some of them go to a little-known aircraft boneyard on Jalan Pergudangan Marunda II, a dusty street in Cilincing, North Jakarta. Surrounded by containers and other metal junk, the old iron birds wait in the silent heat until someone comes along to cannibalize them for spare parts or just sit there until they turn to worthless rust.
