Turning Waste Into Energy
Two men train to process waste into "fuel pellets" during a waste management training in Tegal, Central Java, on Tuesday. The training, organized by the city's environmental agency, produces 500 kilograms of fuel pellets from one ton of organic and non-organic waste every day. The pellets are then sold for Rp 800 (5 cents) per kilogram.
